 the previous day, and we set off early in the blistering heat for the matinee performance. The South Bank was teeming with crowded enthusiasm.

A fabulous day out in the weather we can normally only dream about. We walked all the way back to The Tower, along the river.

Even though it was well past teatime when we got back, the temperature inside the boat was 30 deg. We cooled off with a welcome shower, and then sat companionably in the cockpit twilight, reviewing another memorable day.
